The Price of Beauty
How far would you go for the perfect mani? What about having the perfect nails and hands, free of wrinkles or cuticles! The road to perfection isn’t always pretty…
First I worked on those pesky finger wrinkles by getting botox injections. Then to get rid of those unsightly cuticles and even out my skin tone I got a chemical peel, this does cause the skin to peel off and oh the itching! Finally, I got this new nail beautification procedure that promises to give me permanently long, strong gorgeous nails, one small side effect is the old nail has to detach and grow out before the new nail grows in, no big deal though. While going through this process I can still do my nails, so they continue to look fabulous, to detract from the minor irritation around my cuticles I got some long coffin acrylics and bling! Can’t wait to see the final results!!
Disclaimer: These are Halloween nails, done for Halloween, because it’s Halloween. I used liquid latex, fake blood, and watercolor paint along with a special made acrylic mix to get the lumpy, melted effect. Nail color is B Polished Midnight in Death Valley topped with Make it Matte, and the accent nail has random crystals (I believe they were from a Nail Art Society kit).
Hope everyone has a Happy and safe Halloween!!
