OPI Coca-Cola Duo
Press Sample |
Today I have swatches of the OPI Coca-Cola Duo that came out several months ago (I know, I know). While they look like your standard green and silver polishes, they are so much more than that!!
Visions of Georgia Green is a muted lime green with micro green glass flecks and purple iridescent shimmer. This has a nice formula and is opaque in 2-3 coats, depending on how you apply it.
Centennial Celebration is a platinum metallic with champagne micro glass flecks that gives it warmth. If you shy away from silver because it’s too cool this would work perfect for someone with a warm- neutral complexion. Same formula as Visions of Georgia Green.
To make the swatch more interesting (and because I thought the colors went well together), I created a water marble with them. Apparently the colors went a little too well together and the marble didn’t come out as clear as I was hoping =( Oh well…
Better late than never as I always say. I didn’t remember seeing these swatches around much, but saw this duo recently at TJ Maxx. Definitely think I’ll pick them up now.
I love a marble like this! Gorgeous!
Ha! This is so delicate I didn’t even notice the marble!
Is that a good thing? lol Maybe I should have done it over black?
Interesting colors. I wonder if they are inspired by the cans of Coke that are made with cane sugar.
I would think so =)
Ooh, what a neat idea to watermarble them. It looks like glass!
They do look great together!
Interesting colors!
