Sally Hansen Bare Dare

Let’s celebrate this day..I have finally found my perfect nude polish!! If you remember back in January I posted about the new Sally Hansen NUDE Miracle Gel collection which features 5 shades of nude. Today I have a swatch of Bare Dare, which would be the “light” shade of the group.
Bare Dare is a light beige nude with a slight pink undertone creme, it matches my skintone exactly – finally! The formula on this is thin but two coats gives you full opaque coverage. This is not a fast drying polish so you do need to wait several minutes between each layer otherwise you will notice streaking. After you apply the top coat the polish is dry to the touch in about a minute (meaning if you touch it the polish doesn’t stick to your finger), and takes about 10 minutes to fully dry. This is much longer than I’m used to, normally I apply a quick drying top coat and the mani is fully dry in under 5 minutes. The miracle gel line promises up to 14 days of wear, I gave it 7 and it held up well with no signs of chipping. It was easy to remove with regular acetone, no scrubbing or soaking needed. I really like the color and formula, the only down side would be the dry time.
Price: $9.99 MSRP
I have been eyeing these new Sally Hansen Gel polishes but I’m worried they will ruin my natural nails. But this color, I love it.
The Miracle Gel isn’t a gel, it’s just like a regular polish so no damage =)
This is so flattering on you though!
Nice wearable nude. But bummer about streaking and the dry time.
I loved my color as well but I really thought the application, dry time and wear was really poor. I agree with all you said!
