Today is World Cancer Day, and this is a day that hits close to home for me. As I’ve mentioned before, I’m no stranger to the effects of cancer on loved ones. Along with my mother having stage 4 cervical cancer, my Grandmother passed away several years ago from lung cancer and my other Grandmother is currently battling stage 4 bladder cancer (unfortunately it’s terminal). We’ve come so far in the world of technology and medicine that I hope one day cancer will be a thing of the past!
As for my purple mani, I have a swatch of Sally Hansen Berried Under from the Sugar Shimmer collection. This is a really pretty purple/pink with subtle golden shimmer.

middle finger is not dried showing what it looks like if it were top coated.
It needed two coats for full coverage and dried super fast, I did not use top coat over this swatch.
Overall: I really like this color but I do wish the shimmer was more like Sugar Plum. In the bottle you can see the gorgeous golden shimmer but it just doesn’t show that well on the nail. However, the shimmer does show enough that the color is more dimensional than the regular Sugar Coats.
