Hunger Games!!!! …..
I finally got my hands on the China Glaze Hunger Games collection. These are the colors I got…
Luxe and Lush is a chunky flakie that shifts from green to gold and orange. For comparison purposes the texture of the flakies in Essie Shine of the Times is like tissue paper whereas Luxe and Lush is more like cardstock.
Fast Track is a beautiful glass flecked neutral. It’s opaque in two coats (but as you’ll see below you can add one coat over a base color and it makes a great top coat).
Stone Cold is a matte velvet dark charcoal with micro shimmer. This is my first matte polish (other than a matte top coat) and I love it!
If you find Fast track to plain it looks great when layered over another color..

I wasn’t really interested in these polishes (even though I liked the book and plan to see the movie). Nothing really struck me. But now I MUST have Stone Cold!
It’s a great color, you can put a top coat on it and it becomes shiny and so pretty! But I love how it looks layered under fast track.
