L’Oreal Pop the Bubbles…

I don’t often buy full collections, but when I saw [this] mani done by Michelle from All Lacquered Up for Leslie’s, of Work/Play/Polish, Blogging for a Cause:PolishedGirlz series I fell in love and had to have them all. Luckily my local Walgreens had full stock of the whole collection, which is rare, there’s usually one color that’s missing causing me to look all over town lol.

First up I have Pop the Bubbles, a gorgeous seafoam green/teal microglitter with small silver glitters. It’s definitely textured but not super gritty, I did 2 coats with one thin coat of top coat. I know you’re not supposed to add top coat to textures but I like to add a thin coat because it helps the polish dry super fast. Also, when you add topcoat it tends to bring out some of the sparkle that sometimes get lost in the texture. Once the top coat begins to dry it “sinks” into the glitter so I don’t lose the texture but I do gain some added sparkle.

Formula and application was great, 2 thin coats gives you full coverage. These retail for about $6.99.
