An apple a day, keeps the witch away…unless you’re Snow White, then stay away from the apple!
I love this time of year, when I get to create super fun and artistic art pieces because why not, it’s Halloween! I’m really happy with how these turned out, and while not practical at all they made for really good backscratchers 😉 I made these gala, red delicious, granny smith, and yellow apples using watercolor paints and then I created a special top coat mixed with watercolors to simulate thick, gooey, yummy caramel look.

OH MY GOSH! Before I read that you used watercolors I was SURE you probably just stuck on pieces of apple skin because dang, these look so realistic! I LOVE THEM!

Wow, watercolors. I’ve seen these type of nails before but never heard of anyone using this technique. It’s always acrylics. I would love to see a tutorial on this one. Impractical yes, Amazing BIG yes!
