Sally Hansen Halloween 2014 Big Glitter Collection

Next up from Sally Hansen Halloween 2014 is the new Big Glitter Collection….
Dressed to Thrill has tiny silver and square holo glitters in a clear base. The base on these is much thinner than the base for the Fuzzy Coats so it’s very easy to apply and you get fairly decent glitter coverage with one coat. For this swatch I did a two coats of a sponged gradient and full cover nail then one coat straight from the bottle on the ring finger (all over Scardey Matte).
Costume Glitters has champagne gold and square holo glitters in a clear base. Just like Dressed to Thrill this has a thin easy to apply base making it easy to achieve full coverage without it being thick. I did a two coats of a sponged gradient and full cover nail, then one coat straight from the bottle on the ring finger (all over Scardey Matte).
Price: These retail for $5.99 where ever Sally Hansen products are sold.
Overall: I really like these glitter toppers! They’re easy to apply since the base is thin and they offer pretty full coverage with just one coat, and it’s very easy to achieve high coverage when you sponge it on. I have yet to pick up the original Big Glitter topper but if you see these, grab them! After all…
😉
I really like these but I was at a large Wal Mart on Wednesday night and they didn’t have ANY of these beauties on the shelf! I should’ve looked closer to see if they’d been sold out already, but the only glitter topper they had was #140, Goldi-Flecks, which I’m actually wearing over OPI Elephantastic Pink (which doesn’t look hideous, i promise! 😉
I almost bought this one…& I now wish I did!
That meme _O- hilarious! And I like the sparkle against the matte black base <3.
BLING-tastic! Love that type of heavy sparkly glitter!!
These are so sparkly! I bet they look amazing in bright sunlight.
I wondered how these looked because I just seen in in the store the other day. Lots of glitter… super cool.
I need Costume Glitters!!!!
Ohh I love Costume Glitter (and the Dumbledore meme!!!)
I thought it was clever hehe
These glitters are great!! I love your pic of Dressed to Thrill with the sparkly pumpkin in the background too 🙂
It was a perfect match 😉
Love them!! Their formula sounds great too!
I’m not a big glitter gal but I do have a soft spot for champagne gold and have picked CG up and put it down a couple times… Pretty swatches! <3
I am definitely looking out for these. They’ve got the glitter running through my veins again!
I really like these! I’ll have to hunt them down
This is definitely more my cup of tea! Gorgeous!
