Spring Daisies….

If you’ve been wondering why it’s been quiet around here it’s because my nails are going through an extreme nubben stage. I recently had surgery and removed my gel overlay beforehand, because I knew I wasn’t going to be able to keep up the maintenance, and my nails did not like this.  Several of them “broke” (I put this in quotes because my nails are so thin, naturally, that they just peeled off *insert sad face*), and now I’m trying to grow them out- again! Luckily, I do have a backlog of photos, but I don’t want to post them all right away and be left with nothing to post later, so I am spacing out my posts until my nails photo worthy.

So, enough about that! Onto the mani….

I really enjoyed this mani, it was so bright and fun yet simple. I used Jessica Atomic Red as my base then stamped over it with BM-016 using Orly French Tips White. After I stamped it I used Salon Perfect Matte FX to mattify the look, then I used yellow acrylic paint to fill in the center of the daisies.
