OPI Infinite Shine
Press Sample |
Today I have swatches of some of OPI’s new Infinite Shine line. It seems that many companies are coming out with hybrid “gel-like” polishes, which to consumers can be confusing. These polishes are NOT gels! However, they CAN last as long as gels yet are MUCH easier to apply and remove.
She Went On & On & On is a medium bright pink creme.
Endurance Race to the Finish is a coral orange creme
No Stopping Me Now is a medium bright orange.
Set in Stone is a dark purple toned taupe.
Steel Waters Run Deep is a medium concrete grey.
Maintaining My Sand-ity is a taupe-ish beige creme.
Overall: The formula on these is excellent, they are thin yet highly pigmented and most can be one coaters!. For these swatches I used two coat just to make the color full, even and fully opaque. The Infinite Shine system has three steps, Primer, Color, Top Coat and when used together it dries insanely fast! If you are running late and need to do a last minute manicure, you could do one coat of color and after top coating be good to go in under 5 minutes, seriously! Since the formula is thin it’s easy to work with and allows it to dry very quickly. As for lasting ability, I’ve had this last up to a week, as we know I can’t really wear the same color beyond that . Comparing it to the Sally Hansen Miracle Gels, I much prefer the Infinite Shine line because it dries SO much faster.
Price and availibility: OPI Infinite Shine Gel Effects Lacquer System will be available at Professional Salons including: Beauty Brands, Chatters, Dillard’s, Regis, ULTA and ulta.com for $12.50 ($14.95 CAN) suggested retail for each nail lacquer.
I’ve only seen these where I get my hair done, not where I get my nails done. Maybe I’ll switch for one week.
I really like all of them but She Went On & On & On is my pick of the bunch.
She went on & on is FABULOUS on you!
Can’t go wrong with a quick dry polish with high shine! The neutrals in this line are so pretty.
