I never heard anything about this collection until Jordan, from SparxPolish, mentioned on Reddit that she found these at her local Sally’s. Of course I had to have them, so I literally rushed out of the house to go to Sally’s. I went to 2 of my local Sally’s, but they didn’t have them. I asked one of the managers if she could give me a call when they came in, and 2 days later these babies were mine!

Psychedelic Hue has a mix of teal/green, blue and purple flakies. Abstract Attraction has flakies that shift from light blue, to blue ,to purple.
(L to R) Symmetrical Symphony & Vivid Reflection
Symmetrical Symphony has a mix of lavender to pink and peachy orange flakies. Vivid Reflection has a mix of orange and blue to purple flakies.
(L to R) Vivid Reflections & Colorful Dream
Colorful Dream has a mix of teal/green/blue, peach/pink/lavender flakies.
All swatches are 2 coats (unless noted) over FingerPaints Black Expressionism.
How do they compare to the previous collection?

This new collection has a slightly white tinted base which makes them appear kind of clouded. Whereas the previous collection had a clear (even though it’s yellow in the bottle) base and the flakies were very vibrant.

*note- I am missing Flashy from this collection. This was before my need to have complete collections and I now regret not buying it =(
Overall: I was slightly disappointed that they weren’t vibrant like the last collection but the colors in this collection are beautiful. They applied nicely, no bald spots, and 2 coats gives you full flakie coverage. My top picks would be Colorful Dream ( a must!) and Vivid Reflections, the colors are so different from any other flakies I’ve seen.
FingerPaints is only available at Sally’s Beauty Supply and this collection should be in stores now, if not very soon.

The new collection leaves me feeling kind of meh. I have 4 of the old collection…all but Twisted. If I bought any of the new collection it would be Colorful Dream. Thanks for the post. Saved me a lot of money lol.
